David Kalbeitzer
David Kalbeitzer is a creative, imaginative, and driven Studio Executive, Head of Production, and Producer with 27+ years of cutting-edge studio-based experience in the entertainment industry - inclusive of animation, visual effects, virtual production, experiential design, and location-based attractions world-wide.
He most recently led multiple departments as the Vice President of the Global Digital and Media Production Studio at Walt Disney Imagineering overseeing Media, Casting, Visual Effects, Sound, and Games/Interactive for attractions and experiences in Anaheim, Orlando, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Disney Cruise Ships - including: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Avengers: Quantum Encounter, Zootopia Hot Pursuit, Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure, and the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure redesign of Splash Mountain.
He has also garnered 20+ years of expertise in feature animation, visual effects, and experiential design on multiple award-winning projects. He was the Sr. Media Producer for the Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey attractions at Disney Animal Kingdom. Additionally, he served as a Production Executive at DreamWorks Animation on such projects as Turbo, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and Trollhunters, and as a Producer for Sony Pictures Imageworks on such films as The Amazing Spider-Man, Hotel Transylvania, and G-Force.
A film and psychology graduate of Boston University and a member of the PGA and ASIFA, David’s passion for storytelling pushes him to continuously explore new opportunities in this ever-changing landscape.
Pilar Flynn
Pilar is currently a producer at Warner Brothers Animation on the theatrical animated feature "Margie CLaus," starring Melissa McCarthy. She is an Emmy® Award-winner and Peabody Award-nominee for her work as a co-showrunner of Disney's "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur," based on Marvel's hit comic books. Pilar was named an official "Woman of Marvel" by Marvel Entertainment as well as one of "The 50 Most Powerful People in Kids' Entertainment" by the Hollywood Reporter. Pilar is also a twice Emmy® Award-nominated producer for her work on Disney's "Elena of Avalor," which follows Disney's first princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore. She began her animation career at DreamWorks Animation Features, where she co-produced the award-winning short "First Flight" and worked on the production of films such as "The Road to El Dorado," "Sinbad," "Spirit," "Madagascar" and "Flushed Away." Pilar served as line producer of the animated feature films "Mean Margaret" and "Astroboy." She was also co-producer on the groundbreaking R-rated animated feature "Sausage Party," a co-production between Sony Pictures Animation and Annapurna Pictures, starring Seth Rogen.
Pilar currently serves on the board of directors for the Latino Film Institute, a nonprofit organization founded by actor Edward James Olmos. She is a native of Chile and Ecuador and spent much of her childhood in countries throughout South America and Europe.
